This is where U Cafe Hoi An is by the River Hoai, in Thanh Nam, Cam Chau, Hoi An. To minimise our impact on the river, the cafe’s equipped with its own eco-biological sewer system and we run regular water quality checks.

U Cafe Hoi An [Ứ Café Hội An] is founded on principles of social and ecological sustainability, serving food and drinks of Vietnamese and Japanese fusion. Our ingredients are sourced mostly from local markets, farmers of the organic vegetable village Tra Que and a family of organic coffee farmers in Dak Lak.

We offer vocational training in catering and hospitality for disadvantaged young people in Hoi An and Da Nang, and language training in English, Japanese and Esperanto. We also plan to open a bakery to support financial independence for people with disabilities through employment and training.
